Empties #5

It's that time again - empties!
I can tell I haven't done an empties post in a while when my empties storage is overflowing. So much so, that I have enough products to do two blog posts. So, I'm sure you'll rest easy in the knowledge that another empties post won't be too far away! There are some real beauts in this post, so I hope you enjoy!

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream
No7 is such a staple brand, so I knew I would be in safe hands with their skincare. I have combination skin - dry in parts, normal in parts, blemished in parts. I'm just a bit of everything. This moisturiser was so nourishing to the skin. It's quite a thick formula, so it really hydrates the skin. The only issue is that I found it didn't sit under makeup very well. It was lovely for a makeup-free day but always felt a bit heavy under makeup. I am currently loving the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream which I purchased after finishing this one. It works well for hydration and it sits fine under makeup.

Would I buy it again? Probably not

Kiehl's Grapefruit Gently Exfoliating Body Scrub
I really love body scrubs, so when I was given this sample I was really excited to try it. It's a really gentle exfoliator, but it really does the job well. It leaves your skin feeling brand new. When I was last in the Kiehl's store, I smelt the coriander version of this product and I was in love, so I'd definitely want to give that one a try.

Would I buy it again? Yes - but the coriander one instead

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads
When finding the link to this product, I was shocked to see that the packaging has changed! How long have I had these?! Shameful! These were a firm favorite of mine until the Pixi Glow Tonic came into my life. This meant that these pads took a bit of a backseat. With that said, I really love this product and the convenience of having the product already infused into a pad. Gylcolic Acid will always be a part of my skincare routine - whether it's these or the Glow Tonic.

Would I buy it again? Yes

Green People Daily Aloe Shower Gel
You might have seen me feature this product in my Vegan Skincare post. Within that, I said that I'm not at all brand loyal to shower gels. But, I do really rate how natural this product is. It has a really lovely scent and leaves your skin feeling soft and clean. Even if I don't purchase this exact one again, I do like the idea of being more natural with my shower gel.

Would I buy it again? Maybe

The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask
I love a face mask, my Sunday wouldn't be complete without one. This has got to my one of the best that I have tried. It really does what it claims. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and feeling nourished. It really does give you a glow, after shifting away all the dirt from your pores. With continued use, I saw an improvement int he texture and appearance of my skin.

Would I buy it again? Absolutely

What have been some of the products you've been loving or not really feeling? I'd love for you to share them with me in the comments, or via Instagram/Twitter.

Love, Kate xx

This post contains PR samples, however, all opinions are my own.
