L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation

As soon as I saw the adverts for this product, I thought I have to try this.
When I saw that L'Oreal were claiming this product could cover tattoos, I had to get my hands on it. During the winter months, I always reach for a more high coverage foundation. My skin is always so pale and unhealthy looking, so I need any help I can get from my foundation. I tend to have a love hate relationship with high coverage foundations, the trouble is they can so easily look cakey and awful. So, while it was on offer in Superdrug, I had to give it a try.
I have been using this product for the last month to get a full representation. On first use, you notice the consistency of the foundation is so different to other foundations. It's not a fluid like most foundations, it's thicker and more like a paste. That's the only word I can think of to describe it. This, initially, was odd. But after a few times using it, it just became normal. The coverage of this product is incredible. I've not been feeling the best about my skin lately, so this has really helped to even everything out. The product does stand up to the claims of it feeling weightless. It doesn't feel heavy or like it is clogging my pores - something that is quite rare in a heavy duty foundation.
One thing I will say is only use one layer of this product - you're maybe thinking 'Kate, of course you only need one layer, have you seen the coverage'. But, on one day of use, I didn't put enough product on my skin on to fully cover my moon face, so I went over it again and it didn't blend well and just sat onto of my skin...not cool. But, there really is no need for you to need to apply two layers anyway.   Overall, I have really loved this product and would definitely recommend it.

  1. I've been debating whether or not to try this. I'm more of a tinted moisturiser + concealer gal, so I'm not sure if it would be something I'd incorporate in my routine. I might get it next time it's on offer, I need to see what the hype is about ;)
