Pixi Glow Tonic Review

I feel like I have been totally late on the bandwagon with this product, but I am sure glad I jumped on board. I have seen so many people raving about this product, so when my mum asked for a new toner for Christmas, I knew exactly which one I was going to get her.
Call me mean, but I tried her Christmas present before she had the chance - I was that desperate ok!! From the first use, I was hooked. I know it says it on the tin, but it really does give a lovely glow to your face. With most toners, I don't really feel any benefit from using them - other than making my face feel dry. But this one is so different.
After sampling my mums, the first thing I did after Christmas was head straight to the shops to purchase on of my own. I actually got mine from M&S - they are slaying it with their skincare/beauty ranges at the moment.
I've been using the product solidly since Christmas, and I am really impressed with the results. My skin is probably in the best condition it ever has been since using this product. Before Christmas, I was struggling with hormonal breakouts, but they seem to have disappeared. I look healthier and my skin no longer has a dull complexion. For only £18 per bottle, this product gets a huge seal of approval from me.
What are your favourite Pixi products? I'd love to hear your suggestions in the comments.
Love, Kate xx

My Fitness Journey: Couch to Half Marathon Update 4

Hello, January!
With January comes all the new fitness goals and people wanting to shape up. Whilst I 100% support this, I am feeling slightly envious of their lazy Decembers whilst I was pounding the streets. Over the last month, my training has been slow and steady. I am up to running 6 miles now. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would ever be able to run this far. I am so proud of myself, but the half is ever looming and I've still got a long way to go. As I sit writing this (whilst watching Gilmore Girls) it is exactly 7 weeks till the Bath Half - eeeeekk!!
Sadly, I have been plagued by injury in the last week. As my mileage is increasing, I have started experiencing knee pain. Then one evening when I was out running, a stabbing pain in the back of my other knee came out of nowhere. I have ordered myself a knee brace, which will hopefully sort out my dodgy knees. Until then, I have been taking my runs slow and keeping them short.
For Christmas, I was lucky enough to get a FitBit Charge 2 from Santa. This has really helped with my training. I love being able to check my distance, heart rate and pace really easily when on the move. I'm going to do a full blog post review on this bit of kit - so watch this space.
As the half is ever looming, I have set myself up a Just Giving page. Any donations, big or small, would be hugely appreciated. Just head over here if you'd like to donate.... https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Kayleigh-Kate
What are your new year fitness goals?
Love, Kate xx
