Lush Haul

"It's the most wonderful time of the year....."
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, and the Lush Christmas range makes it even more wonderful. After seeing every blogger and YouTuber raving about this year's Lush products, I had to get my hands on some of them.
I didn't want to go crazy spendy in the store, so I spent a lot of time browsing the products and having a good chat to the staff there - aren't they always so nice!
So, this isn't exactly Christmas - but it is one of my staple Lush products. This bubble bar has a beautiful, fruity fragrance. I crumble only a quarter of it into my bath and it makes the biggest bubbles - it's amazing. I also love how soft it leaves my skin feeling when I get out.

I saw this little guy everywhere last year but I never got round to getting my hands on one. This is another bubble bar. It's full of shea butter and oils, so I bet my skin will feel soft and nourished after a bath with this. Also, the best thing is that his eyes are made out of chocolate!

Now, I'm not normally one for sweet scents. But the vanilla from this bubble bar is really lovely. again, this leaves you with really big bubbles and beautiful, pink water.

This is another product that I wanted to try last year but didn't get around to it. This is a body conditioner, which you apply to the skin at the end of your shower and then rinse it off. Afterwards, you are left with really soft and silky skin. Also, a really cooling, tingling feeling. This is a more spendy product for me, I went for the smallest tub (100ml) which was £9.95, the larger tub is £17.95. I have been really enjoying using this, especially where my skin is drier compared to the summer months.

I picked up this hand and body lotion whilst I was at the till. The sales assistant was telling me about the charity work Lush do, and that 100% of the price goes towards their charity projects. So it's win-win, a lovely product whilst also donating to a good cause.

What products do you recommend that I buy the next time I'm in Lush?

Primark Beauty Haul - Lip Products

Primark is always full of surprises. You might have already seen my love for the Primark lip liners - if you haven't already tried them I strongly recommend them! So, when I was in Primark the other day, I made a conscious decision to see if they had any other lip products for me to try out. I came across their Velvet Matt Lip Crayons. I already have a couple of these and I love them, so I bought 3 more shades - Hustle, Nude Beach & Mushroom - for £2 they are a bargain!!
I came across their Super Matt Liquid Lipstick range, I swatched them on the back of my hand and what I really noticed was their pigmentation and how they dried very matte. The two shades I picked up were Kendall and Karla. My stand out favourite has to be Karla, I feel I have found my perfect brown/nude. I feel it really compliments my skin tone and hair colour - lip goals! What I will say about these is that they are very drying on your lips, I was wearing it on a date and I couldn't wait to get home and take it off. But, for £2, I really can't complain about them too much.

What are you favourite lip products at the moment?

Autumn Fashion with Boutique of Molly

As you may have seen from my Autumn Fashion Wishlist post, I love autumn fashion. The colours, layering and generally being cosy - I love it all.
Last autumn/winter I wasn't brave enough to try and pull off the 'over the knee boot' look, but this year I've taken the plunge. Do you know what, I bloody love them!
The ones I have (pictured) are from ASOS, they are ASOS own brand and they were a bargain at £45.  I don't know if this is just me, but when I think of thigh high boots I generally think hooker. So that's where my reservations came from last year. Styled in the right way, I think they can look so classy.
If you've read my blog before, you'll know the love I have for Boutique of Molly. On my quest for autumn fashion, I came across this beautiful waterfall jacket. For me, this jacket really works with autumn layering. I can't wait to pair it with chunky knits or big blanket scarves. I think it looks beautiful both tied at the waist or left open, creating a really nice draping effect.
What are some of your favourite Autumn pieces?
Love, Kate xx
