Blogtember: My Top 5 Fragrances

Today, I wanted to talk you through my top 5 favourite perfumes. Disclaimer, I am rubbish at describing scents, so bear with me. Also, can we just note how perfectly the colours go together - it's like it was meant to be. Anyway, less of me rambling - on with the blog...

This scent has been the most consistent presence in my fragrance collection. I remember being at my friend's house when I was about 15 years old, she had this in her collection and I loved it from the minute I smelt it. So, for 10 years, I haven't stopped buying it. I really love the staying power of the scent, it isn't too overpowering, but it stays with you for the whole day. This definitely isn't a fresh scent, instead, it's a really lovely musky perfume.

This is the polar opposite of the previous perfume. As the name would suggest, this is a really fresh and light scent. I love this as a daytime scent, particularly for the summer months. It isn't too overpowering to wear in the day time, but you still get a lot of staying power with regards to the scent. You might have guessed I hate perfumes that you put on in the morning and can't even smell by lunchtime.

Coco Mademoiselle has to be my all-time favourite scent. I first smelt this at my friend's house when I was pre-drinking for a Uni night out (classy) and I fell in love. This is such a distinctive smell, if someone walks past me with it on I will instantly know what it is. I adore this scent, but its price tag, not so much. This is definitely a perfume that I use sparingly.

This is the most recent addition to the top 5. I got this for my birthday back in May and I have been obsessed with it ever since. I see this as more of a grown up fragrance and me branching away from the more sweet and floral scents. This definitely has a floral undertone, but with a stonger, more musky overall smell. Again, the staying power is really good.

What are your top 5 fragrances?
Love, Kate xx
