Blogtember: Bloggers Festival

This weekend I attended my first blogger event, Bloggers Festival, hosted by Scarlett London Events. My day started with meeting the very lovely Alex. We agreed to meet at Victora station, looking back this was a bad idea, but it did make for a very funny phone call trying to find each other.  When we eventually found each other, we made our way over to the Conrad Hotel in St James. This was the most beautiful venue, from the lobby, the amazing decor, and even the toilets!

On arrival, we were greeted by Scarlett herself, this was a really lovely touch. We were then given a glass of bucks fizz and encouraged to go explore. The day was a really good opportunity to speak to brands, some I had heard of and others who were new to me. I love discovering new brands. I was blown away by the generosity of the brands. They were happy to tell you all about their products and give you some bits to take away and try out.
I am really excited to try the body masque from this brand. I have never used a body mask, but I can't think of anything more luxurious.
This brand had the most beautiful pieces of jewelry. They had really dainty rings, necklaces, and bracelets. I will definitely be checking out their website.
Lipivir is a brand for cold sores. I don't personally suffer with them, but I will be passing this on to someone I know who does. The brand spoke really well about their product and they seemed to certain that this will stop you getting cold sores for good - as long as you keep using the product.
Friction Free Shaving was a brand that I didn't really understand until I spoke to them. I normally have my shaver for a few weeks, and I will change it when I feel it isn't really working anymore. I was told that we should actually change our razors once a week, this is due to a build up of bacteria that then leads to cuts and redness when shaving. A bit of TMI now, I get both of these. I can't believe how wrong I have been shaving for all these years.  I am really excited to try this product out.
Yes, you read it, Christmas! That sign alone pulled me into this table. They had some really lovely baking products, such as cherries and crystallised ginger. They had the most amazing ginger Christmas cake, which I will definitely be making for my family this year.
To think that we hadn't been spoiled enough, there was another huge bag waiting for us as we left. This had loads of goodies inside, from some of the brands featured in the event, but others such as EcoTools and MeruMaya Skincare.
All around it was a lovely day. It was lovely to speak to other bloggers and brands. I didn't manage to get pictures of all the brands (bad blogger), but those I love will definitely be featured on my blog at a later date. For my first blogger event, the bar has been set very high. A massive thank you to Scarlett for an amazing day. I can't wait for the next event now.

Love, Kate xx

It was great wasn't it, we probably crossed paths at some point on the day.
I know, I still can't believe how generous all the brands were.
      Thanks for stopping by.
